Senescence begins
And middle age ends
The day your descendants
Outnumber your friends.
הַזִּקְנָה מַתְחִילָה
מִסְתַּיֵים גִּיל הָעֲמִידָה
בַּיּוֹם בּוֹ מִסְפַּר צֶאֱצָאֶיךָ
עוֹלֶה עַל מִנְיַן יְדִידֶיךָ.
